In general terms, going on a retreat means leaving behind your everyday life and the monotonous activities that lead to stagnation of your creativity, as everything becomes mechanical; it is taking the time to exit this routine cycle. Obviously, a retreat should not be mistaken for a vacation.
In the world of yoga (and in the world of Om Yoga too), a retreat means taking the chance to experience all the branches of yoga close to nature, instructed and accompanied by an adept teacher; it is living what we only imagine while we are trapped in our monotony; it is giving meaning to words such as silence, space, fresh air, discipline, self-pampering, sincerity, etc.
In Om Yoga, we organize these retreats in order to relax, have fun, and remember the importance of letting go, giving into ecological nature and reaping the benefits of taking the chance to explore more closely the relationship between our body, our mind, and our spirit. |
